Should show current balances available on the App
Once logged into the App Id find it really helpful if I could see a current balance of both gas & electric before topping up. Equally I think the App should send notifications to me informing me if and when either energy is running low, or about to run out. That way if I ever run out of electricity and I’m staying at my mum’s, I will know to put money on the app and it would avoid losing any refrigerated items eta.
Other than that the app itself has been helpful. The only problem I have is the smart meter often becomes faulty and I am unable to see my gas readings whatsoever. This means going down to the end of the garden with my toddler in the cold weather and check in the outside box. As this isn’t the first time this has happened in this year I think maybe some work needs to be done on that side of things, but I am very happy with SSE energy as a whole. And hopefully won’t be waiting too much longer for another engineer to come out for a third time to remedy the gas readings issue. Would still recommend SSE and using the app regardless of these matters 🙂👍
App does what it’s supposed to but lacks features
The app allows you to top up the smart pay as you go meter and track payments made through the app or when logged into your account.
Important features would be seeing you’re balance/ credit and tracking usage which currently can only be done on the home display.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
