Google Tasks Client is the best application for using Google Tasks on your desktop.
It supports synchronization with Google Tasks, task refinement, reordering, full-text search, shortcuts, multiple Google accounts, menu bar, notifications, app badges, M1 tips, and English.

The browser version of Google Tasks is a great application.
However, because it is provided as a sidebar to Gmail and other applications, the screen is too small and not always easy to use.
Google Tasks Client is an application that pursues the idea that Google Tasks should be more like this.
We want everyone who uses this application to be happy with it, and we are second to none.

Got rid of my paper pads and use this across all my devices :-)
Only thing lacking with this app is the ability to upload images into it.

Looks good so far
Have only just started using it, but am impressed with how few permissions it asks for (reassuring when giving out Google authentication). Really nice UI too. Would love recurring tasks and a Mac Widget though to really complete the package.

Thank you for your review. Security is of the utmost importance to us, so we have limited the permissions to only what is necessary for the app, and the UI has been designed to be simple and easy to understand.
We have asked Google to provide us with the API and we will update the app as soon as the API is available.

the best google tasks app for mac
Super simple, clean design and fast. It doesn't replicate 100% of google task's functions, but does the core tasks very well. It is getting rapidly updated and improves month by month. As google wont make an offical app, the modest price for this software is well worth it.

As you said, I think we need to improve the details such as deleting alerts and subtasks.
There is no warning dialog for deleting tasks, so I'd like to fix it promptly. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I would like to work on displaying subtasks below the main task in the future.
