About World Wildlife Fund

For nearly 60 years, WWF has worked to help people and nature thrive. As the world’s leading conservation organisation, WWF works in more than 100 countries. At every level, we collaborate with people around the world to develop and deliver innovative solutions that protect communities, wildlife, and the places in which they live.

People are at the centre of everything we do. WWF works to help local communities conserve the natural resources they depend upon, transform markets and policies toward sustainability, and protect and restore species and their habitats. Our efforts ensure that the value of nature is reflected in decision-making from a local to a global scale. WWF connects cutting-edge conservation science with the collective power of our partners in the field, more than one million supporters in the United States and five million globally, as well as partnerships with communities, companies, and governments.

Today, human activities put more pressure on nature than ever before, but it’s also people who have the power to change this trajectory. Together, we can address the greatest threats to life on this planet and protect the natural resources that sustain and inspire us.

Simply join the challenge and start checking in as you would usually. Your contribution will be added to the overall target. Once you have completed your individual check ins, share the All Together Challenge with friends & family to see how far we can get. Receive a unique badge for participating and feel good about making a difference. Look out for the next ‘All Together’ challenge, so we can make a difference together.

Could be even better! 🙂

It is a very good app in terms of helping people make a difference in many different ways!

However, I think that this app can be even better to encourage people to keep up their work and “reward” people in order to keep them engaged! :)

I think an improvement could be that there are weekly/monthly challenges like those that are available on “Apple Fitness” app, people get “medals” in app if they hit a certain amount of targets/score. It gives people more satisfaction whilst looking back on achievements.

Secondly, maybe a tab/page where people can see how many times they have completed a mission, giving an overview of their history and gives them an incentive to keep rejoining a mission once it is completed, rather than a ‘one-and-done’ mentality.

I hope this helps! 🙂🙂

Predictable waste of donor funds from WWF

WWF is a super-rich mega-charity wasting millions of valuable donor dollars annually on naive, academic-run, misguided projects around the world, while smaller, genuinely impactful charities are starved of funding. Dinosaurs like WWF waste billions on themselves while wildlife is massacred toward extinction: Mountains of pointless reports, endless five-star international conferences, cycles of pointless workshops, fleets of luxury cars, shameful executive wage bills, corruption-fuelling ‘allowance’ handouts, naive academic-run law enforcement programs, and pointless apps like this. What they are incredible at is marketing (for yet more money to feed the machine) and occasional political influence. An app like this can never be great as it comes from a super-rich pro-meat-eating, pro-hunting megacharity. In the last 60 years they’ve been operating over 60% of the planet’s wildlife has been destroyed. WWF is a big part of the problem their app purports to highlight. Donors need to wise up or our environment is doomed.

PS. WWF’s teams of aggressive high-paid lawyers will doubtless remove this soon!

Developer Response ,

WWF has been at the forefront of global efforts to protect wildlife and the natural world for nearly 60 years.

During that time, we’ve secured vital victories for our planet as we and our partners have led the way in protecting numbers of iconic wild species, including rhinos, gorillas and tigers; won protection for vital habitats which people and wildlife depend on; embedded sustainability into mainstream business and helped start a transformation in the way forests and fisheries are managed; and pushed issues like climate change, sustainable development and the illegal wildlife trade up the international agenda, holding governments and businesses to account, to secure action for our planet.

I LOOVVE IT ,

Really good!

I am really determined to help everyone make the world a better place, WWF is a great place to get started. One little simple test and it can tell you how to step into a better and more eco life. One thing I did spot was.. how it asks you for your Postcode… I trusted them to keep my personal information safe. Other than that minor issue, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a better lifestyle but doesn’t know where to start. It helped me do it definitely, every since using this app I have been using less electricity, less gas and more bamboo! Love this app ❤️
