Description
ECG+ analyzes Apple Watch ECG data to detect potential abnormalities, such as PAC, PVC, Long QT syndrome, or T wave changes (flattened or inverted). Additionally, ECG+ calculates HRV to assess your fitness and overall wellbeing.
ECG+ integrates with Apple Health to unleash the greatest power of your Apple Watch ECG, by analyzing and calculating intervals like QT/QTc, PR or QRS, and heart rate variability (HRV) out of your ECG data. QT/QTc are critical measurements linked to life-threatening arrhythmias. HRV is widely considered one of the best objective metrics for physical fitness and determining your body’s readiness to perform.
HRV refers to the variation in time between successive heartbeats, which is an indicator of the health of the autonomic nervous system. QT interval refers to the time it takes for the heart to recharge between beats, which is important for assessing cardiac health.
In the ECG+ app, you can do many things about your ECG recordings from Apple Watch ECG -
1. HRV Trends - with HRV trends you can learn your health level changes. A up hill trend means a better physical fitness level and a down hill indicates you should pay more attention to your overall health. With QT trends you can monitor closely your QT intervals over a period of time and seek healthcare attention whenever a prolonged QT is identified automatically.
2. Measure QT and calculate QTc - ECG+ app automatically identify and measure QT for you, and you can choose one out of 6 QTc formulas to do the QTc calculation
3. Long QTc warning - the app automatically calculates and shows a long QTc warning if a QTc is exceeding the normal range (normal range is based on gender)
4. ECG report - ECG+ app provides a much more comprehensive report than the default report from Apple Health, and it includes R-R markings, HRV Poincaré plot, 6 intervals, heartbeat signatures and more, with which you can get a much clearer picture of how your heart is functioning
[Disclaimer]
All findings associated to the ECG readings in the ECG+ app, including but not limited to PAC/PVC detection, Long QT detection and HRV calculation, do NOT suggest diagnosis. It only provides more information for you with which to consult your doctor, not as a substitute to doing so.

Ratings and Reviews
rMSSD vs SDNN info. Fantastic App
Would be great to have some info regarding what the selection of rMSSD vs SDNN actually entails - more specifically - is this setting supposed to match the HRV format of our smartwatch or is it the calculated output based on the raw data. I’m looking at this as, if I write from ECG+ to Apple health I’d like to know what impact this will have on Athlyitic app analysis - contacted them too.
A guide or help document would be the cherry on the cake.
That being said this is a fantastic app for anyone interested in viewing abnormalities in their single lead ECGs. Top work mate.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for your feedback, we have introduced a bit more information about rMSSD and SDNN on the settings page where it can be set, and we are also working on a new version hoping to make all of the numbers/concepts easier to understand. Please feel free to contact us about the impact on other apps that you are using, which we are very interested in. Cheers
One of its Kind - Seamless Quality
Does exactly what it says on the tin. No other app integrates as neatly with HealthKit while also giving you such easy access to R-R data with graphs and additional info as well.

Thanks for your review!
Another "Lite App until you Buy"
Looks a great app, but doesn't do very much until you finally succumb to all the "Unlock for this" prompts. At £10 pm its too expensive. Its a shame so many apps are following this somewhat deceitful model, free Lite app with the real differentiating functionality behind a paywall with no free trial. Not everyone can't afford a phone full of apps at £10pm. The "Pay for features by subscription model" is out of control on iOS.
