Description
alQibla provides you with an easy tool to precisely determine the direction of qibla from any location around the world and calculate the prayer times for your city.
Features:
1. Prayer Times based on your calculation method & location.
2. Prayer Times Notifications based for all prayers.
3. Notifications can have different Adhan for each prayer.
4. It uses iPhone's built in location services to determine your location and gives you the direction to Qibla on a Map.
5. Find the Qibla direction from any address using the search feature.
6. It also allows you to find Prayer Times for the following calculation methods:

-University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi
-Islamic society of North America (ISNA)
-Muslim World League (MWL)

7. Prayer times tuner to make adjustments and share monthly or yearly prayer timetable with your friends/family/relatives.
8. Includes a graphical compass for iPhone 3Gs + devices with the compass hardware.
9. Hijri Calendar with important events.
Search could use the following formats:
1. Full address or Zip code (example: NJ 08544)
2. Cities, states, and continents (examples: France, Tehran)
3. Famous places (example: Masjid Ul Haram)
4. Coordinates (example: +38 34′ 24″, -80 32′ 57″)
Requirements:
1. iOS 15.0+ installed with Location Services (Settings > General > Location Services) turned ON.
2. Also requires either a WiFi or a mobile network to load the map tiles.
3. For prayer time adhan notifications iOS15.0+ is required.

A formerly great app that has lost key functionality since version 7.0
Firstlly I have used this app for many years. It has in that time been quick, easy to use, and efficiently provided me with key information.
Since the version 7.0 redesign, unfortunattely it appears that efficiency, functionality and basically key things working right, are no longer the main considerations.
For example, I previously used the compass function to find the correct direction and there used to be a vibration when the phone is pointed in the correct direction. This has seemingly been removed, and the whole compass screen now works far worse with VoiceOver, Apple's screen-reader. As a blind user, this now means I cannot use this app to find the right direction via the compass function and this is super disappointing, — please consider fixing this, otherwise I will have no choice but to find an alternative app.
To end this on a positive, I've tried a few different apps over the years with the same functionality, and the reason this app has always remained my app of choice is because it just worked, clutter-free interface and fast to load. These things now seem in much doubt following the latest major update.
Notifications don’t stay on..
Used to love this app until recently when the notifications don’t stay on any more.. within a day I get a message to say notifications have expired and I need to launch the app to renew.. really annoying.. developers, please fix
Updates have ruined everything
What used to be a great app with a very helpful active compass and a manual prayer time’s adjustment option in case your times were a few minutes off the city’s times for prayer, is now not useful at all.
The recent update removed these functions rendering the app hardly useful. The prayer notifications expire quicker and eventually stop. It was brilliant in its early version but I’m not liking this updated version at all.
