Good but has lives system
Tl;dr: actual game good fun but don’t expect to binge it
All in all this is a pretty fun puzzle game, and the actual mechanic of trying to work out which screws to take out when is great. Forewarning though, don’t get too attached to actually getting to play it!
It has one of those annoying lives systems where once you’ve used your 5 lives, you have to wait for them to refill, and it takes forEVER(30 mins for 1 life!) this means on the harder levels it takes even longer if you haven't got the memory for the tricks you worked out on the previous go, or if you make a silly mistake early on.
You can pay for or win infinite lives, and this is a much better experience, but only for a short time! I think £9.99 for an hours infinite lives and some coins is a bit steep personally.
You can pay for no ads permanently as well. The ads impact my enjoyment much less than the lives system though! I’d much rather pay a small fee for permanent infinite lives than for no ads, so that would be my main message to the developers: please, an infinitely playable version!
Other than this big thing, I can recommend the puzzle element. It just isn’t a bingeable game like some others of its kind. And I want to binge puzzles.
Good game
Match screws to the coloured box at the top. Sounds easy, and sometimes it is, but other times you have to try and think which screws to use first etc to unlock other screws. You get 5 holes to store extra screws you need to get out the way, and I knocked a star off because even though it gives you 5 holes, if you use them, it automatically ends the level and you lose. Why give 5 holes if you can only actually use 4? It’s messed me up a few times and really annoyed me the first time because I strategised using the 5 holes only for it to kick me off the level for doing so.
Other than that it’s a great, if irritating (for the right reasons) game, and I would recommend. I’ve enjoyed it for several days now completely free.
Level 121 Broken - Needs Fix
I love this game. In fact, I’m addicted!
However, the new upgrade needs a fix. I initially deleted the game and started from the beginning in the hope it would be fixed by the time I got back there but I have come across it sooner than planned. With the dark blue screws, you are left with one star and one normal but the container has space for two normal screws so I can’t complete the game.
Please fix to allow me to continue my obsession with this game.
