Nearby LA Taxis 4+

Excellent. I have been using this app for some time and it far exceeds other local companies. I have three local taxi firms on my phone apps and tend to use the the one that can turn up quickest. All the other apps are comparable but the LA app more informative with regards to availability. There are no tips facility on the app which l prefer unlike UBER. I do not want to be pressured into tipping a driver who has no idea where he is going. Yes there are a lot of drivers who have not sat the knowledge but you will find these in all taxi firms. Though l have to admit it is nice when you get a proper taxi driver who knows where he is going.

In the past I have recommended this company to friends, colleagues and clients...now I doubt I'll even be using them myself. I can categorically say that both the app, and LA in general, are absolutely useless.
The app constantly logs you out and has no remember me feature, meaning you only remain logged in whilst the app is open and being used; every time I open anything else on my phone and try to return to the app, I have to log in again.
LA as a company have went completely downhill. They now have very few local drivers who know the areas they work in, so you spend the majority of your journey directing them - despite using the app and assuming this would generate a route on the sat nav (?)
It would also seem that they are now using the time you require the booking as a dispatch time. If I book a taxi for 8am, I expect it to arrive at 8am, not for a driver to be allocated the job at 8am when they have to drive 7 miles to my address.

The app works well & the service is always excellent. I would suggest a facility where, if no cars are available asap (whatever criteria you have set for that), we can see when a car is likely to become available would be very useful, so we know approx. when to prebook for.
