Needs Improvement

An fantastic game with great graphics and a good storyline. However there is a MASSIVE flaw with the game play. The energy takes too long to recharge. It takes 8 minutes to get one energy point which wouldn’t be too bad but the task take up far too much energy to complete. Not just that the energy should be used better. Energy should not be used to have a conversation and when searching for items it should use a certain amount for the whole of that puzzle not 5 energy points per item that’s ridiculous because you start playing find three items and then you can’t do anymore. It should be 20 energy points to complete the whole task. Also that way the game play isn’t constantly being interrupted. It’s so frustrating when you can barely do anything in a game. I love the fact that you can find hidden objects however they don’t give you enough energy to complete a task. This needs to be drastically changed as the whole game is ruined by this major design flaw. I bought 300 energy and that enabled me to complete two tasks and have one conversation which took 10 minutes. That’s nothing!!! I wouldn’t mind paying for the game if the energy went further and was quicker too recharge. I would rather pay for a really great game than how it’s currently done. Or even if you could earn more energy by watching adverts that would be better. The game is a great game but this energy crisis is taking the fun out of the game completely. Needs to be addressed ASAP!

Very good and enjoyable game, but ages to build energy up

I saw this game as one of those very annoying ads and thought I would give it a try.
Like everyone else has commented on I must I’m very impressed on the storyline, interaction of the game and general all over concept of the game.
The only reason I have not given 5 stars is (like everyone else has said) it takes ages to build the energy level up! I play for all of 10-15 minutes and then I’ve ran out of energy, it so annoying especially if I’m in the middle of a searching tasking as once I’ve got enough energy to finish it, I have to start all over the again :( also I refused to pay to get more energy.
What I end up doing is seeing what energy I have and if I don’t have enough to complete the searching task, is wanting til I have then competing the task.
A note to the developers of the game, I understand you have to make some money (aka via people buying energy etc...)but taking nearly 24hours to get 200 energy points is crazy, at least make the times shorter (currently its roughly get one energy point every 8 minutes). Please change this :)

Don’t get

Like many others have said, the energy system is terrible and unsustainable for a fun gameplay experience. You have to wait a whole entire day for it to be filled up, and even THEN it does not last long enough. You get about 10 minutes of gameplay which a lot of it is just clicking and finding random objects that have no relevance to the case. Then you have to wait another like 24 hours for another ten minutes gameplay. It just isn’t practical. And it makes what otherwise would be a great game, extremely frustrating and impossible to get immersed into. I suggest everyone to delete this app until this issue is solved. The company who owns this game clearly is doing well for themselves, they don’t need to add this much cash grabbing techniques. Sorry if this seems disrespectful. But it’s just such a shame and a disappointment because I love the art style, love the story line and concept, love the comic book style scenes, but the energy system completely ruins it. And I’ve seen people as far as 3 years back complain about this and still nothing has changed. If you’re going to keep energy at least give an option to pay for the whole game without energy, or be able to watch ads to COMPLETELY fill up our energy. Or AT LEAST make energy last longer so we can actually play for longer. Please listen to your customers. This game would be perfect, one of the best and most intricate designs on a mobile game ever imo, had it not been for this energy system. Do better

Energy automatically regenerates over time. There are also additional opportunities for obtaining free energy:
1. Completing achievements and linking your account to Facebook;
2. Replenishment of energy through viewing advertisements. This option depends on your region and platform. If you do not have this function now, it may appear in the future;
