Description
iMove supports independent mobility of visually impaired people.
By using iMove, you can:
- Know the address where you are;
- Know points of interest are around you (e.g. schools, stations, pubs, etc.);
- Record speech notes associated to your location. A speech note will be played every time you will be close to the place where it has been recorded;
- Customize the messages. For example, you can choose to be warned about the address where you are, the current orientation and speed, about speech notes, nearby points of interest, etc. ;
Enable the "Notify me" functionality to be alerted even when the app is not running.
Notes
iMove is designed to be fully accessible with VoiceOver.
By enabling "Notify me", iMove will use the location services while running in background. Continued use of GPS dramatically decreases battery life.

Great app. Wish there was announcements for intersection ahead. And option to navigate to by using external nav apps
good app, well worth downloading.
i'v tested this app on a number of routes i frequently use and have found it to be extremely useful.
the app works well when used in conjunction with other GPS apps such as Navigon.
menus work well with Voiceover and speech notes work as expected.
one feature I would like to see added and would certainly find useful is the option of backing up speech notes to Icloud, offering the option of deleting old notes would also be beneficial.

This app is absolutely amazing it has enabled me to use the metro independently in Newcastle
