Description

The free iMow app permits worldwide access to the iMow robotic mower models RMI 422 PC (VIKING MI 422 PC), RMI 632 C (VIKING MI 632 C) and RMI 632 PC (VIKING MI 632 PC). Keep an eye on your iMow robotic mower with the flexible iMow app.
You can start the iMow robotic mower immediately, send it to the docking station, edit the active times, call up mowing statistics and much more.The intuitive user interface provides extremely easy and user-friendly operation.
ACTIVATION
You get your access data for the iMow app from your STIHL specialist dealer when you register a iMow C model.
SMART FUNCTIONS
Customize the mowing duration from any location with your iMow app. Activate the dynamic mowing plan and have your iMow define the mowing duration itself.
For greater flexibility you can add active times and perform seasonal growth updates.
To further improve the mowing result you can incorporate current weather forecasts into the active times.
SAFETY
You are informed if your iMow robotic mower gets stuck or as soon as a blade change is due.
Activate the GPS anti-theft alarm to receive a notification if your iMow leaves the home area.
FUN
You are informed about the mowing performance of your iMow robotic mower and can share this information on social media.
HELP AREA
The iMow app provides a comprehensive Help area in case you need information about functions.

Not brilliant, but no terrible either

It does actually work for me. I can programme the working hours, I can make it mow when I want it to (does often need to be told twice), it tells me if it has got stuck or not docked, it’s OK for an IOT app, it could be much better, but I’d rather have it than not have it. Stihl really should be regularly updating this app and asking for customer input, but this is the way of so many IOT apps, get it working and forget it. Stihl, you are a premier product, invest in this app and make a release once a month until you get a 4 star review.

Should be better

The app in theory is great, but the accuracy of the machine’s sat nav means functionality is very restricted. In particular setting cutting radius’s is a waste of time.
Connectivity to the machine is quite unreliable, - Stihl advise me to clean the charging sensors on the charging dock.
Some controls have a mind of their own - for instance I often find auto mowing has switched off.
If this and the mower did all that is promised then it would get give stars, sadly unreliability means that this, to me is a 2 star app.

Don't buy this - hopeless

We have had this for nearly one year. The app gives us nothing so don't pay the difference. Absolutely not worth it. We always have to go out to the mower and manually program it. It says it's mowing when it's not and give versa. Even manually entering data for example mowing tie , the info is not retained in the machine. Given the run around by most of the dealers since we don't live near where we bought it. Different excuses - e.g. it's our internet connection ( everything else works fine ) it's the battery ( it's not 1yr old yet and has been serviced at suitable further expense. ) repeatedly gives wrong messages eg battery temperature too hot ( we're in Scotland for goodness sake). Stihl please fix this or offer a full refund. It doesn't do what it says on the tin...
