Easy to use
InkPad is an easy to use app that's simple and productive.
The notepad itself has a tutorial at the beginning to show you around, which helps with some of the more complicated parts of the app. You can search for notes if you have a lot of them, scroll through them, sort them by a-z and date, and quickly type your next note after adding it.
You can change the colour of your page from plain white, lined white and lined yellow (I personally use the yellow) and choose your font and it's size out of a wide selection.
If you would like to access your notes on another device you will need to create an account, but this is an easy process which is, overall, optional.
I haven't had a massive problem with ads - unlike some other apps - as the only one is near the top of the screen and easily ignorable.
The only reason I think this isn't a 5 star is a small pet peeve of mine, when you open new notes the lines don't show up. I'm guessing this is a glitch, but I would prefer not to vote 5 stars on an app that's glitched - whether it's large or small.
I do use this app slightly less than the original Notepad that comes with an iPhone, if only because the original is cleaner. However when making a list I immediately go to InkPad for its bullet points and shopping list, where you can click on the shopping cart button to look up your item online in 2 clicks.
Overall, InkPad is a very good app and hasn't let me down so far.
Monospace font option restored - thanks :-)
Thank you for reintroducing a mono spaced font. My previous notes are now readable again. I do note that since the December update it runs more slowly with particularly large notes than was the case on the older version. Also, the replacement monospaced font is a modern version as opposed to looking like a typewriter, but this will suffice. Happy customer :-)
Notepad
Has recently in the last month got extremely annoying as i click Inkpad and the screen is just blank and I can’t open any notes!! All my list of jobs to do are written on there! I am connected to high speed fiber internet aswell so its extremely annoying!! Why is that happening! I have to switch the phone off and on again for it to open anything!!
