Idea good but limited, slightly buggy

To be honest, I don’t have much use for pure cloud storage, but the future Internxt Photos looks promising. So I thought I’d give this a try.

In some ways it’s refreshingly simple, but a little too simple. Uploading from phone often throws errors about blobs which isn’t helpful and makes me question the reliability.

One to keep an eye on, but for now there’s not much to recommend this.

Getting better

Nice app for iOS, pleasant visually. It’s improving slowly. Needs some extra features like a decent search function. Currently only searches current folder not my whole “drive” which is annoying when looking for things by file name. Would like to see a “favourites” option for quick access alongside “recents.”

Photo backup option seems slow even on high speed WiFi regardless of whether it’s high quality photos or a small kb size meme; also unlike other apps it doesn’t seem to backup automatically in the background so I have to ensure app is open so I can’t fully replace iCloud Photos yet. Appreciate these last two issues may be related to the security/encryption over competitors like the Big G.

Keep up the good work. With improvements I plan to switch all my cloud storage to this one provider. Pricing is nice too, thanks for being cheaper than Tresorit as we are not all business customers but users who prefer better security or privacy.

Currently Useless

Although from what I can tell the service is super-secure and scalable, available across all of my devices and such. It would easily be a 5-Star app if I could locally cache (offline-access) my files so I can quickly and easily view them, including the ability to scroll through photos, videos and content. The ability to locally cache files on my iPhone wouldn’t compromise security but it would make my life a lot easier when I’m looking through my obscurely-named file hierarchy. Slight edit: If privacy is the aim, adding a lockout to the app (require FaceID) would be ideal too, not too much work to add.
