App Notification
Every time I log in to Investec online I get a notification from the app to authenticate the login with biometrics. This results in the red notification number on Iphone displayed on the app. This does not go away even after I have completed the authentication. This is quite frustrating as it constantly now shows that I have a Investec notification even though I don’t. I need to delete and reinstall the app to get this away. Will review rating 5 star once this is fixed as the app works fine otherwise.
Needs work
The app works fine but is glitchy and temperamental. Hangs when I switch between apps, hangs sometimes when I create new beneficiaries. Need to restart the too often. Sometimes my Touch ID authentication disables for no reason.
A banking app like Monzo (albeit a lot simpler product offering) is a good example of a modern day banking app.
Inexcusable Downtime
The SA and UK bank usually have downtime almost every week, app is always on maintenance mode as if it’s still 2010. I have been struggling to login today.
The technical team needs to pull up their socks, I am not impressed by errors in your transaction engine and all the intermittent bugs.
I love a lot of other things about the app and online banking though, I believe it could improve.
