A card someone "thinks of" suddenly appears upside down in a deck of cards - all on your iPhone, iTouch or iPad.
The classic effect from the 1930's has been given a searing technological update.
Many call it the best card trick in the world, and now it can be done on your iPhone. This app works as a standalone, but if you know how to do it with a REAL deck of cards too, follow up the iPhone trick by doing the SAME thing with your real deck. Wow. (If you aren't sure how to do it with a real deck, just get yourself over to Ellusionist.com and search for "Invisible Deck". It's easy and amazing.)

A flawed gem
A very well accomplished magic app. It looks good, if a little heavy on the Ellusionist branding, and works every time providing you have put in the necessary practice. It does take time to get used to the method but it is time well spent as the result is so impressive. Make sure you make full use of the practice facility as you will need it. There are five decks to choose from but it would have been nice if a standard Bicycle deck was included. Call me cynical, but I can't help but feel that Ellusionist have chosen to promote five of their special decks in the hope of securing sales. Not cool. Give us a normal deck (and a wider variety of backgrounds to choose from) and this app will be almost perfect.
Overall, Invisible Deck is a great app for the iPhone-wielding magician and I would recommend it. It's just a shame it is marred by Ellusionist's attempts at advertising and self-promotion. An update would solve this. (Note: just shake your device to reset the app, ready for the next performance).
UPDATE: I have just discovered a bug that can ruin your performance if you're unlucky enough to come across it. The performance will start normally and the face down card will appear after a few cards have been flicked away. But there are no more cards after this. The face down is the last card of a small packet. I will inform the developer and hopefully they will release an update shortly.
A great magic app from Ellusionist, it took me quite a while to remember everything, but once I did, it's great and it is easy to perform.
