Works ok but graphics could be better
The app works well but the graphics for the controls leaves a lot to be desired, best of the bunch though inmho, nest cams seem to have stopped working, no doubt google the greedy bstards have put a spanner in the works, very comprehensive support website puts most other developers to shame, I just wish he would put the same app in the Mac store, I would pay for it on my macs.
No camera feed unless you stay on the same network as the cameras!
The streams of world video cameras on the app advert are misleading. Unless your iPad or phone were on the same network that the cam is set up on you would just get a no feed message... No use if you want to access your cameras while away from the network that the cameras are set up on! Shame it doesn’t state that it won’t work if you are on mobile data or another wifi zone. There are no settings to change this and a quick google search confirms you must be on the same network to view the cameras.
I can see the camera areas while I’m home so it’s pretty pointless and at almost £5 a waste of money!
Please open this program up to enable viewing from any internet access Mr Robert Chou or at the very least tell people it’s only remote viewing when standing near your cameras!
This app falls short for something called pro!
Outstanding for Your IP Security Cameras
Really easy to set up a collection of IP cameras and then email that set up to all your other iPhones and iPads.
Far better than LiveCams Pro, which has stopped working after the latest Apple IOS. Of course you can access your cameras remotely (unlike what other reviewer have said). This is far more secure than sending your footage over the internet to some App in the cloud. You ‘simply’ have to set up a port for each camera on your router to allow remote access. Most good routers have instructions, or a help forum, on how to do this.
