Could be doing with a search function. So that stock can be checked without manually locating it. Apart from that - good.
Elegant and Simple Way to Manage Stock and Shopping
I have looked long and hard to find an App that manages kitchen and household goods stock levels in a simple way. After trying many Apps, most which were far too fussy for my needs, being coupled to ingredient use from recipes or defined meals, I then discovered iPantry, which is a highly focused App that makes management of stock levels really simple. You create your shopping lists steadily on-the-fly as you use up stock and items can be added to lists for generic or specific shops, as defined by you. It works in an elegantly simple and effective way to manage your shopping list whilst out shopping and to then put what you have bought into stock. It can be backed up in a couple of ways, including Dropbox, and has in-built iCloud sync which works flawlessly. It is, in my view, the perfect design for its single-minded purpose and works beautifully. Not only that, when I reported a couple of minor bugs to the developer, he was quick to respond to my emails and to eradicate them with updates to the App. A first class App from a developer who really cares and provides great support. I look forward to using iPantry for many years to come and to seeing how it is evolves.
