iPlugmate 4+

It may be that it isn’t compatible with iOS 16 which I’ve upgraded to. If I start the app up, it just flashes it’s intro screen and that’s all I get. There is no sign of the app running after this brief show.

Firstly I never give 5 stars coz nothing is perfect.
Apple products are designed for maximum usability but maximum security, so apple have made their products as difficult as possible to get into, for us users this can be a real pain particularly when transferring files to and from other devices. I have tried all sorts and have always had to resort to using the cloud which can be soooo slow for multiple files.
IPlugmate! with the HooToo usb device, oh what a delight! A usb device that actually works! Yes it’s not perfect, and yes trying to get a file from an iPad that is not a photo or video file can be a bit convoluted but it can be done!
Copying multiple photo’s or videos are just a breeze with this device, admittedly I have only had this piece of kit for 3 days but I have copied my entire video & photo libraries from an iPhone 6, from an iPad Air and an iPad mini 4 onto the device and then onto my pc and my Mac and all done in a matter of minutes!
In conclusion, my advice is get one today or sooner if you can!
Just remember be patient, it does work! One last thing the device itself is formatted in fat32 so you are limited to an individual file size of just over 4gb, I don’t know if you could reformat this usb stick to EXFat, in order to save extra large files but my guess is you would destroy the drive, me , I’m just not brave enough and am just grateful for what I’ve got!!

Purchased Oct 2018. Very easy to use - plug it in and it works. Bought after a month of messing with iCloud and losing some photo’s along the way. Installed the app on both iPad and PC, set up matching directory structures and drag and drop ... couldn’t be any easier or more intuitive. Would recommend.
