Ratings and Reviews
iPhone cover has been better.
Reasonably consistent performance over the past two years over most platforms. Keeps dropping out on IOS when constant coverage selected. Need to check every day for updates or re starts. Constant forced updates required as always resets to USA and showing it connected to London USA until daily manual update. On PC same process presents correctly.
These incorrect identified country / server location undermines confidence in the product, especially as this glitch has been incorrect for months.

Disappointing
I decided on IPVanish after doing some research and seeing the name come up many times while reading positive reviews. The desktop app is great and works perfectly. However the iPhone app doesn’t work well at all. If I enable connect on demand it will work for a short while but usually in less than half hour it disconnects my WiFi, so I have no signal. If I don’t check my phone I’m often not aware of this so I’m suddenly left out of communication with anyone who tries communicating with me via any WiFi only app. This is really frustrating as it means I either have to constantly check my phone to make sure it’s working or turn off IPVanish which defies the whole point of having the app. If this could be fixed it would definitely be a 4 or 5 star app but this is too big a problem to give any more than a 1 rating, especially as I’m paying for an IPVanish subscription. If this isn’t fixed by the end of my subscription term I’ll definitely be looking for a better option.
No longer viable
This used to be a great app but in the last couple of weeks it has been updated and is now so bad, its time to look elsewhere. My iPhone rarely connects to the web with the VPN activated, but as soon as I de-activate the VPN the phone connects and loads pages without a problem. Previously, I could just go into the app and disconnect it but now, I’m faced with a locked app displaying an “updating servers” message that I have to wait to clear. I use the auto-connect function but to enable/disable this I have to open the app, go to the settings screen then go down to the auto-connect selector, then go to a third screen to disable or enable it - its just tedious and annoying. If I want to disconnect quickly I cannot because of the updating servers issue, I have to wait then press disconnect - but it doesn’t disconnect. When it does it states I have to disable the auto-connect as well meaning I have to go through the tedious 3 screen reactivation again. Was a good, useful app - now its just one-star trash.
