Works with Nextbase Duo
This works with the Nextbase Duo, which is not surprising as Cansonic, the developer, sells the same product under their name as well. The programme Nextbase tell you to download isn’t by a registered developer so macOS will throw up an error when trying to use it. For that alone, this is better.
That said, there are some issues. The programme can get confused with the video feed order that goes with the speed, GPS and G-force data. From what I’ve seen, the data is in the right order, but the video clip might well not be. This only seems to be for the first clip, the second three-minute clip then puts it right. Also, after zooming in, I can’t zoom all the way out again. It will zoom out only so far.
The units menu has a spelling mistake, and when changing to MPH, the speed graph under the video doesn’t adjust properly. The axis will show MPH, and the middle value will change accordingly most of the time, but the value at the top of the axis is still the KPH value.
Hopefully the developer will correct these quirks quickly.
