Update: Unusable for several days now, and no information besides a vague Twitter post. Back to 2 stars. I wrote a 1star review of this app around a year ago, as I found it unusably unreliable. But a month or two after that it basically seemed to get sorted, and I’ve had no prior lens recently - does everything it needs to. I don’t have one of their cameras, so can’t comment on that.I guess some of the settings could be easier to navigate, so maybe 4 stars would be more appropriate, but having left it on 1 star for a while I’ll be generous for now.

I see bad reviews but my system works just fine......I have 4 windows and doors sensors. They are easy to install and maintenance is simple with a change of battery every four to six months really depends on how much doors/ windows get used. I have 1 dedicated room sensor which is again simple to install and maintenance is just a battery change every now and then. The response time for sensors is a matter of a few seconds. I have 1 spot + camera which is very easy to setup. This camera has motion detection which also triggers 10 second recording which you can review and or delete via the app....Video quality is good and includes night vision too. Response time is also good. Someone somewhere wanted an iPad app. I found that the iPhone app works ok on my iPad but doesn’t support screen rotation. For the money this system is great and ideal for home use....

Seemed ok for the price, just what we wanted, however since installation, I’ve had countless activations daily where nothing happened and I mean nothing. Horrendous to start with but in the end I found I was ignoring them. Not really ideal as I’d got them to keep an eye on things. I know they won’t stop problems but they might give you early notification to address matters and may provide evidence. Now, having had them off for a few months and needing to change the wifi source, they will not connect at all. Get to about 27% then fail, every time. Customer queries take up to 48 hours to resolve. Home security demands an immediate response, not 2 days. Frankly not worth it and if I could give 0 stars, I would.

Overall I am pleased with the camera and the app is functional. I have a few issues with the app though. First is why isn’t it iPad compatible? It seems daft to make iPhone only. Second, it is fiddly to find things in the app like some of the settings. Some settings are found if you tap on the camera and others when you go into the video list. Why not just have them all in the one place.Other annoyances are if you get the image into full screen landscape view there are no option to return. The only way I have found is to shut the app and re-open it. The detection seems a little weird too - this may be the camera software though. It will detect a car passing but the postman can get to the door and away without any motion being detected. He could be undead but I have spoken to him...
