Learn how to pronounce Italian
One of the most helpful aspects of this app is to use this app to test my own pronunciation. If the app doesn’t understand the word I am asking it to look up I know that I have the stress wrong. Similarly if I don’t know how to pronounce a word I can type it in and listen to it over and over again.
One caution it’s not clear who updates this but I did find one or two words which had the opposite meaning to what was the standard meaning in other sources. But for the 5 years that I have used it I can forgive those mistakes and I continue to find it very helpful.

Great app to improve my Italian
I love this app. Super handy day to day to help with translation but it came into its own when travelling in Italy. I find the stock phrases particularly useful. Love the fact that it works offline too. I think it would work best for those with some basic knowledge of the language but once you have that, this gives you everything else that you need. Highly recommended.

Everyday useful
This app is a very helpful piece of kit for day-to-day needs. Much easier to carry around and access than a dictionary. It does have its drawbacks, though. It isn’t nearly as comprehensive as a paper dictionary and doesn’t always cover every meaning of a word. An example: “post” and “posting” do not mention the sending of someone to a new place or position, such as might be said of someone in the Armed or Civil Services. Not an exceptional use of the words, I should have thought.
