IXL is a great learning app for kids. But sometimes when my smart score is 99 or something high like that it takes me back to something like 71 and I hate that because when you do one question from 71 it doesn’t take you forward to 99 so it’s really unfair on people and this review was straight after it just done that and that’s exactly what it done! The reason that I gave two stars is because you have to at least mark one star and just to be nice and the second star is because you get rewards for certain things and if there is a star on a white circle when you have finished a task then tap on it and reveal your prize (the prize is a box in the square that has a star on it)P.S. you get bonus prizes (bonus squares) :D but I do recommend this app to people doing the 11+ so that’s another star so ⓉⒽⓇⒺⒺ ⓈⓉⒶⓇⓈ is what I give!P.S.S I do get really frustrated with this sometimes and if you do do another task or have a break for half an hour or more xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

First of all, let’s start with the PRICE. Not much people can really spend their money 💸 on an app that costs £100 (more or less) per month! But aside that, it’s an okay app that has many learning concepts and features, even fun maths games too! It has English and Maths, and also breaks down all topics into year groups, eg. Year 1 - Year 13! But a main downside for me is the fact that it doesn’t actually TEACH you anything 🤷🏽‍♀️! As soon as you go on the lesson, it takes you straight into the lesson and won’t explain the topic! Now, although it shows you how the correct answer would be, well, correct, it might still be confusing ❓for those who don’t know the topics. I’d say it’s a good app for revising topics you already know and need to refresh up ⬆️ on, but not for those who need to learn something. And also, a VERY ANNOYING feature in the lessons, when you get an answer wrong on IXL, it’ll take you back so far from here to Africa ✈️🤣😢. Anyway it takes you back very far, making it feel so long to actually complete the lesson. And when you get one correct, it only takes you forward a little bit and it’s very unfair annoying. When I need to constant practice Ixl is used when I need additional time to get it the tasks that is done so I can step into the diagnostics and complete some more on there Ixl offers free memberships and also it helps me to get better at math and English in the class that I am also getting stronger and ether answer quickly or at your pace . If you are at your standard level. It motivated me to suspend my working abilities. Throughout classes . When you are stuck on a question you may work it out on a bit of paper . Ixl helps me to get my work done. And it supports me throughout the school day and sometimes at home . It’s the best online educational app I’ve ever used. It helped me especially in lockdown because it gave me a boost my learning and home and I love it . And it boosted my knowledge of English and math .and I loved your app soo much . it helped me a lot with my learning and I discovered that it approved my learning and how it helped me with my Down syndrome and it was really beneficial for me to get better with my learning in life . down syndrome as been a part of me and ixl has helped me. First off the price is expensive, nobody can really afford to pay £100 a year. Next let’s talk about working, when you get an answer wrong it take you about a few levels back which absolutely annoying. I’ve been using this app for awhile and haven’t learnt anything at all, I’ve failed most of my tests. It just breaks the relationship between you and your child. Forcing, everyday. It just triggers me how we have to work every time we go back and the questions are very confusing. It’s not fair, we just waste £100 for stupid “studying” which seems “fun” at the start but will kill you during the next few months. Please, request your kid a professional tutor or someone in your family who has excelled school.READ REVIWES BEFORE YOU PAY AND GET THE APP, WILL REGRET WASTING £100 OR 100$!!!
