JamDoughnut: Instant Cashback 4+

I used this app for the 1st time recently and was a bit unsure. I just used it for a couple of gift cards and saw the Cashback adding up but not yet to a point where I could cash out. Yesterday I was making an expensive purchase and knew I could get Cashback through this app but was hesitant as I hadn’t used this app for buying a gift card for a large amount of money (it was a holiday). I need not have worried, though because I bought the gift card last night and used it on my purchase with no problems. I then withdrew the Cashback money and the information said it could take 5 days to reach my bank account. It was in my bank this morning so I’m very happy.

I use JamDoughnut pretty much every time I go shopping. A great selection of retailer gift cards offering instant cashback.

When using it in a supermarket, I wait until all items have been scanned and get a gift card for the exact amount or just under so I use the entire gift card balance in one transaction (don’t like having various cards left with balances on them).

Constructive Criticism: I wish buying with Apple Pay offered the same cashback amount as paying via Bank as the latter is a hassle and takes a lot more time.

At first I had a good experience using this app because I received the gift card fairly quick after bank transferring the money. However I have had 2 instances where money was taken out of my account and then received an error notification and that I will be refunded a couple of days later with an email shortly after the incident explaining this. The money did come back into my account as stated but still not ideal. However the most recent experience is a negative one. I requested a large amount on a gift card, money left my account and many hours later I’ve not received a gift card or an email saying it has failed. I sent a message and was told I’d receive a reply in 30 minutes…. Many hours later still nothing. I’m wondering if I have been a victim of fraud.

The automated message on response time sometimes can be misleading as it does not always take into consideration on our customer support working hours, but we always will get to all messages as soon as possible.
