Jaybird 4+

I have just been sent a replacement pair of Vista 2’s for my old Vistas that had failed after just under a year. The new earbuds are just excellent, easy to connect, switch between devices easily and fab battery life there is some upgraded functionality which is an improvement on the original earbuds, I just hope that these last longer than a year this time. I’ve given them 4 stars as I think the push button controls should be touch sensors as the buttons you have to physically push only forces the earbuds further into your ear and can be quite painful if your not careful, but well done Jaybird for producing such and excellent product as a price point most will find very competitive.

The app works extremely well, but I'd like to see some improved functionality as well. The voice prompts and some other audio prompts are very loud and not adjustable. Rather than have these played at maximum volume it would be better to be able to set the prompt volume independently within the app. The same goes for notification sounds played through the headset - they should likewise be configurable because I normally play notifications at a reasonably high volume, but this isn't appropriate when using bud style earphones as they are then way too loud.

The app is really useful and the ‘find my buds’ feature is really easy to use. But. I really think Jaybird have missed a key feature, a button to turn your buds on and off. I’m always forgetting to turn them off and then putting into my bag then having to get them out again to turn them off. Furthermore, most headphone/ speaker apps I have used have this really useful feature and you can have your buds connected even before you get them out. But overall Jaybird have done a great job with this app.
