My daily prayer guide.

I have used this app for a few weeks now. I really like it. It helps me focus on prayers and readings. It has been put together thoughtfully and prayerfully. The ‘examen’ is a great reminder. Yes I would recommend it to anyone trying to build their Faith. I’m sure it has the backing of the Holy Spirit.

Content is great but the tech could be better

This is a well put together, focussed app. A big thank you to all those who contribute.

However, it could really do with a background download for two reasons. Firstly, internet connections are not always available and opening the app only to realise that you can't read the day's guidance is disruptive to prayer. But more importantly, if you do have internet access, then your prayer is interrupted by emails, messages, tweets ... all the usual demands for attention at a time when you should be focussing on God.

A good base in contemplative prayer

The starting image is a good start to pause with, the scripture is aligned well with the Catholic Liturgy of the day… the scripture is not too long offering a good place to contemplate. The commentary is rich and the closing prayer draw this to a good close. The daily Examen process is included to.
