Description
Jisgaw +0.5K is a Jigsaw puzzle game for iPad/iPhone/iPod, free with ads. It is the little brother of Jisgaw +10k (with more than 10000 pieces in each puzzle), and Jisgaw +2k (with "only" 2000 pieces)
The main features are:
- To help with the challenge, you can use virtual boards to separate your pieces in colors, shape or whatever criteria you decide. You can have as many as you need
- Organize your virtual boards in the layout you prefer
- Identify them by name or color
- Rotate and move pieces with simple gestures
- Move an Zoom each virtual board independently
- You can limit your movement so only pieces movement or board movement would be allowed
- You can view a reference image in any virtual board
- Twelve different images available.
- Every time you start a new puzzle, a different set of pieces is created
- Available for ipad, iphone & ipod

The best iPad jigsaw game by a mile
Excellent, finally a jigsaw game that has more than '100' pieces! I've pretty much purchased all the other jigsaw apps and my biggest gripe was the lack of size with most taking only 20 minutes to complete. So far I'm over two hours in to my current puzzle and nowhere near completing it, a 59p in app purchase gets rid of the distracting adds plus gives you an additional puzzle pack that should keep you going for a while.
The interface is generally well thought out, and the extra windows to build sections of the puzzle and drag bits around work really well. The only small gripes I have is that rotating pieces can be difficult especially when zoomed out, and the 3 lower left icons just aren't intuitive to the degree that I normally end up just pressing them randomly till the movement mode does what I want. I strongly advice taking note of the welcome page that tells you how to use the app, I didn't realise at first that only the puzzle piece actually touched with your finger will automatically lock to another piece so at first couldn't work out why pieces looked like they should join but weren't actually connecting, one your aware of this all works really well.
It would be nice to be able to use my own photos, I know most photos would need to be a high resolution but with current cameras it shouldn't be an issue.
A larger selection of photo packs to purchase would also be good, quite a few of those currently available have large sections of similar colour (such as clear sky) which makes area of the puzzle less interesting, difficult and a bit random to solve.
Overall a fantastic puzzle app well worth a download plus 59p purchase to get a few more puzzles and remove the adverts. I'm sure I'll also be taking a look at the 2k and 10k versions in the near future.

It is rubbish you can't control the pieces whatsoever plus the quality is very poor so that's why I give 1star
