Jo Tuffrey is an expert fitness, pilates and yoga instructor.

Jo qualified with a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education in 1995 from Carnegie in Leeds and started teaching PE in a prestigious Secondary School in London specialising in gymnastics and dance. At the same time she developed a PT business at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.

In 2000 she stopped teaching PE to pursue her passion for pilates and that year qualified with Body Control Pilates. Since then she has established a successful career maintaining her enthusiasm and devotion towards health and well-being.

In January 2019, Jo started to release online fitness courses. With 800+ members, she now releases a new workout twice weekly, to accompany a huge back catalogue of classes and a whole heap of motivation and fun.

The real thing!

The app itself is very smooth and well executed. Very easy to navigate and use. If only all apps were so straightforward. But the star is Jo Tuffrey. Using this app is just like being at one of Jo's classes but as a private client. Terrific set of changing exercises so you never get bored, especially with Jo's asides, but giving the whole body the benefit of pilates exercises and control. Also great that you can download exercises so that you can practice a session wherever you want. I like the fact that there is no background music so that on a separate device you can add your own. Shame I could only rate this a 5 star. Simply brilliant!

Healing Exercise

I feel incredible after these workouts, and so many to choose from. I have a sore lower back and sciatic pain, and Jo is so knowledgeable about the body, her exercises really make me feel so much better afterwards... plus she’s very chatty and funny, so the classes go by quickly, and I always have a smile while doing them... it’s like working out with a great friend x
