I've been using Job Today for a short while and I'm really impressed with its features. The app is straightforward to use, and I found the interface clean and user-friendly. Some job ad are scammers they call you for interview and tell you to come next day for trial day for 5 hours they will tell you to clean dishes. Like they did with me I applied for tortillas in kings cross they told me to come next day for trial so i when there they gave me the uniform show me around told me to do some small task ok then told me to go and clean dishes and i applied for front line worker that means making burritos making tacos some cleaning it well but they never showed me how to make burrito they told me go wash some dishes so i when i was wash dishes all day till the trial finished. Then the manager call me and said why did you wash dishes all day i look at her and told her that you told me to she reply there was mis communication and told me she want some that will work in front line her name was agata she was polish. If some one had the some experience please rapport to the job today app. As other time i when for delivery job in high gate for trial shift and after the trial they told me ok your trial is finished and gave me an email address to write if i want to work there i said ok by the time i when home I received a massage on the app why did you go your trial hasn't finish i said you told me it finished he said no so i when there to ask him whats wrong with him so i when inside the restaurant and ask for the manager the stuff ask me to leave as he was busy and then I realised that they scam people like that they ask you to do free delivery's and they just tell your trial is finished and get free delivery out of you

I applied for store assistant/customer service in retail store. I was in class so couldn’t reply immediately, though i replied later. I got a message saying you have not responded on my phone too along with the app. When I responded, i got a message saying appointment confirmed at the exact date like in a minute. I don’t have a habit of overthinking things and didn’t become suspicious.So on that day, I traveled for like 45 mins and finally found the building, there was no recruitment board or anything even inside the building. I waited with 2 people outside. When i went he inside he says: yes we have many jobs in retail store and starts to name popular stores tesco, sainbury, asda etc. Then he also says we have other jobs like in cctv, computer operators but you have to take training. We do training courses which costs £1300 to £1500. My whole day went and i was no where near to having a appointment. Never again using this app to search for a job! I hope everyone checks reviews before downloading this app.

Too many jobseekers and too few jobs. Employers won’t even review your profile because they get so many applications. And with the new update you now need to pay £5 just to speak with your employers, which I think is absolutely ridiculous! Having to pay £5 for extra features is OK but why charge for something that was free before. You’re now forcing people to pay £5 if they’re shortlisted just so they can speak to their employer. Not cool considering we’re SEEKING jobs and might not have £5. Doesn’t make any sense. Also there are so many scammers on this app that I dont think job today monitors properly. All they have to do is delete their previous account when they get flagged and make a new one. Overall the app has a good selection of new jobs to choose from everyday but it’s unlikely you will get a job within 24 hrs. This maybe used to be the case in the past, but the app is too popular now.
