Find nearby or nationwide EV charge points using our searchable map. Enter a desired town, city or postcode and be instantly shown all nearby off-street charge-points waiting to take your booking. Bookmark your favourite chargers for ease and convenience. Find recommended charge-points by unique Joosup ID.
Calendar
Manage all current and upcoming bookings, plus view all past bookings in our impressive interactive calendar. Whether you’re a host, an EVO or both, see when bookings are due and stay on top of your schedule.
Active Sessions
Monitor charging session progress in real-time within the active session screen. Get alerts when charging sessions are close to completion. Need more parking and charging time? Request an extension from the host if you need to charge your EV a little longer.
Inbox
Chat in real-time to other Joosup users. Contact hosts to ask questions about their charger before, during or after bookings. Reach out to EVO’s to let them know anything important like directions to your location, parking space information, how to use your charger... in fact, anything you like.
Ratings

First time user
Used the app for a trip to a an event in bucks 170 miles each way from the West Country & plotted a route so I could charge en route , this allowed me to both save money over the cost of public charging & to meet some lovely EV people , I would highly recommend it now having used it 3 times . I would advise planning at least 24 hours in advance so the hosts have time to respond & I’d say it’s better to message the host first before booking a session & give them time to respond before making a tentative booking .
The messaging system is really helpful , it would be also good if there was a way of filtering hosts by cost as there is some variance when I searched but the ones I used were reasonable & cheaper than public charging & very flexible as hypermiling cross country my eta was a little out of sync with actual arrival but it all worked out well & I saw some lovely countryside near Bath & oxford that I may have missed if I stuck to motorways
The ability to give feedback both ways is also really good so if you’ve used such apps as u ber or air b & b you’ll know it works well both ways if you’re able to give & receive feedback a bit like trip advisor
There are other apps out there offering a similar opportunity to rent people’s home chargers but I haven’t tried those yet but I hope to so I can update a comparison review too later
