Description
Let the magical strategy game take you to paradise islands! As a powerful Kahuna priest, you‘ll fight exciting duels in order to conquer a paradisiac archipelago in the South Pacific.
Build bridges to link the islands to each other, and try to expand your empire of islands as much as possible through three rounds of the match. You‘ll need a good strategy to do so; but only, if the gods are well disposed towards you, you’ll draw the right cards – and be able to conquer the beach paradise.
In the single-player campaign, compete with the friendly fisherman, the skilful tattoo artist, the merciless warrior, or the ingenious chieftain; or prove yourself in multi-player matches against your friends or Kahuna players from all over the world. You’ll learn the simple rules of the exciting board game very quickly; however, conquering the island paradise will turn out well only for the best.

Version 1.4
You can easily conquer all islands with iOS 12 and the iPhone X, now. In addition to some graphic adjustments for even more fun, we have updated the privacy policy. Last but not least, Kahuna can now be played in French.

One Player is good, two player flawed
Simple but fun boardgame implemented for mobile play. The one player game works fine and is great to learn the game.
Unfortunately the two player game doesn’t work as well. Most games I start never seem to get past the first turn. Then games that do start have strange bugs where cards you play on your turn, then turn out not to have been played when your opponent has taken his turn.
For such a simple game I would have expected reliable two player games and maybe some kind of league or scoring system to track results. Hence the lower score, which is a shame as the underlying game is nice, quick and good fun.

Inviting friends did NOT work, two purchases for nothing
My boyfriend and I wanted to play a bit of Kahuna on the go. So first, we both had to download and pay for the app, only to find that the feature ‘invite a friend’ is not working. We both are registered with the Apple Game Center, we both are on iMessage. But when “loading” the invitation, all it does is opening the Kahuna app. The new game is only shown for the player who started the game and invited the other. We tried several times in all kinds of ways, it never worked. The starting player could start the game and make a first move and then that’s it. The other one never gets shown the shared game. :(
Absolute fail. :(
No, our invitations always want out right away. And we always did finish a first turn, but the game still didn’t appear in the app of the other player. :(

Lovely game - does need some bug fixes
Enjoyable conversion of the Kosmos 2 player game. Well worth the price.
However it does have a bug or two which hopefully will be fixed in its first update (it has crashed on me once and frozen a number of times. Email sent to developers). But proportion of played games outweighs problem games (although it does seem to encounter the bug when I'm winning which is a little irritating though that could be coincidence so far).
