STORY
--------------------
The world emerged out of darkness. Unchanging laws had brought about the beginning of all things, and with it came the Kaiju. Carved out of the world by chance, the first beings appeared, bringing life to an otherwise barren planet. Balance and power were in their nature, setting them apart from the chaotic universe that surrounded them. Movement and time shaped the world, turning it into something different with each passing day; however, the Elders, Kung and Godzira, ruled over the planet without being affected by either of these forces. They saw everything around them change. Small creatures started roaming the corners of the globe, plants erupted from a once dead soil, fish moved in the seas and the oceans, uninterested in almost everything.

Every living being respected the Elders.Even the small ones, too small to understand the scale of their power, stayed out of their way. The Elders rarely got involved in worldly affairs. Occupying a position, as they did, between the immortality of nature and the mortality of its creations, meant a sort of disconnection from the world. However, everything changed when the other Kaiju appeared. All over the globe, just as the Elders had, other powerful beings came into existence. At first, they followed in the example of all other living creatures and bowed down to the Elders, respecting their wisdom and acknowledging that their power did not match theirs. Nevertheless, this changed as their numbers grew. It had been a rule until now that Kaiju’s would not alter nature’s course by destroying its forests and killing its beasts, and it seemed as if the new Kaiju did not abide by these rules. Although this angered the Elders, there was little that could be done if a war was to be avoided.
The newer Kaiju saw this hesitation as a gift, and continued going against the Elders’ interests. By the time the humans came around, the newer Kaiju had already amassed incredible amounts of power. The humans – still children in their way of acting – idolized the newer Kaiju, and, for that same reason, despised the Elders. A few hundred years passed and the human adoration for these Kaiju grew exponentially. It reached a point that the Elders simply could not ignore, which made them send in their minions, their servants, in an attempt to crush the insubordination of these lesser creatures. The Kajiu and human alliance fought against the Elders’ minions for years, and both sides suffered heavy losses, increasing their anger towards each other.
By the time the last of the Elders’ minions was destroyed, Kung and Godzirahad accepted that their intervention was inevitable. From their ancient resting places, the two titans walked the earth once more, making the ground tremble under their might and scaring almost all living creatures into faraway hideouts. The world prepared itself for a clash that it had never seen, a confrontation between the first beings and their descendants, a fight that would leave the very surface of the earth scarred.
