Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe it. In this unique puzzler, the animations are just as rewarding as the gameplay. We never got tired of watching the board unfold in a blossom of colourful origami. Our favourite new feature? An editor that lets you create your own gorgeous puzzles and share them with the world.
At first I couldn’t grasp the game at all, & so I foolishly deleted it. However, as I’m not one to be beaten & I kept thinking about it & decided to download once again & I’m so pleased that I did as it suddenly made sense & I started to get them right. Of course they become harder as you go but that is what gives me complete satisfaction when I master the challenge. Now I’m completely addicted, the patterns are so beautiful, the colours so rich also the music very therapeutic. The puzzles really make you think outside the box, so clever too. It is now a top favourite app.
Could be improved
It’s an addictive yet calming puzzle, easy to pick up and play if you find yourself with 5mins to spare, you can solve the puzzles in the journey and there’s a daily puzzle. You can also make your own, which I haven’t tried, these get put into the challenge which is a good way to interact with the app and for the game developers to have more levels for people to play without having to come up with them themselves.
It would be great to have a feature where you could undo one move so you don’t have to go back to the beginning if you think you’ve made a mistake. If there’s a concern that people won’t use the hints, which aren’t free, if they can undo then maybe limit undo’s to one or two level?
About hints, they could be better, you can’t use hints to help you from where you get stuck on a level it’ll only show from the beginning. This means you have to have bought enough hints to show you all the moves you’ve already got right before you get to where you’re stuck, on levels with 10+ moves I feel it’s a waste of hints, and money. Whilst I understand that developers don’t make the games out of the goodness of their heart, it does feel slightly underhand to get people to pay in this way. I would be much more likely to buy hints if they could be used at the point where I get stuck, as it is I won’t be buying more hints for the game.
