Description

You don't need expensive tools to create simple vector drawings. With Karo Graph, you draw diagrams, flowcharts, technical drawings, drafts or code documentation quickly and intuitively with a flexibility unavailable to more complex applications!

Karo Graph is a very easy Tool for simple Diagrams with lines, rectangles, colors, symbols, arrows like float-charts, technical drawings and all sort of vector graphics. It has already been used for Lego plans, documentation of ground floors, room and furniture planning, knitting patterns, level-design of games, Fortnite-trap planning, helping tools for teaching and learning like physic diagrams, GUI mockups and many more.

The tools are just what you need: A customizeable grid, carefully selected colors perfect for printing and presentation, lines and arrows with different line widths, and fully customizeable symbols.

The application is optimized for fullscreen and it works great with a drawing tablet!

Export to the following file formats:

Useful graphing utility.

Useful indeed. I appreciate the uncluttered pared down user interface which facilitates diagramming / modelling without encumerberence. Next update it would be nice to add the option to choose different fonts on the main graphing application as provided on export.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your review. Different fonts are somewhat difficult to handle at the moment but are noted as a feature request.

Very limited

Very limited in what you can do.

For intance cant draw circles or curves. All straight lines have to be at 90 or 45 degrees from each other, cant draw a 20 degree angle for example.

Also would like to see the ability to draw free hand, if your doing a floor plan you may require to draw something in the middle of a room outside of the grid format. Would also like to not be fixed to whole grids or half grid spaces, free hand would allow me to got to 1/8th of a grid if required.

Finally would like to see in an update some sort of ruler or scale ruler function so that drawings can be done acuratly if needed.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your review. Graph Paper was never intended to be able to draw freehand. Everything must be placed on a grid, as the description says. Though you may like that in the next version, lines can have arbitrary angles and a ruler will be included.

Perfect for traditional craft designs

It's just what I was looking for - the ability to design patterns and designs that can then be made using needlework, tapestry and carpets, crochet etc. anywhere 1 pixel equal 1 colour / 1 stitch. Even perhaps lego pieces, like the Ai Weiwei lego artwork :)

So easy to use, everything is pretty obvious once you try it out - like graph paper on skates!

I've not tried a large design yet, but guess it scales up

Thank you!

Developer Response ,

You are very much welcome. This is what this applicatinon was designed for.
