Ratings and Reviews
Amazing
This thing is the business for someone who isn’t trained in keyboards ... like me. It opens up so many possibilities and is technically fantastic, too. You can’t go wrong with this.
20th deb update: impressive update with tons of new features, including lots of new chords. One of the best apps out there now, especially at such a low price. Undoubtedly the best keyboard app now.
Full featured - but latency maybe?
This has many many features, really well thought our human interface.
But I still get latency. It’s probably not the fault of the app itself. I am using CME WIDI which I have not yet got comfortably or king to play live. It.s ok for sequenced stuff.
So, why only4* when it’s such a good app. It’s because it sits on my iPad and is stuck behind whatever Bluetooth if I can get working ( I don’t want to use WiFi because I want to use it as a live gig controller) - this app is for playing and almost gets there.
Nice bit of kit
I’ve been using a similar app for a while now, but KB-1 already offers far more. This app is newly released, so it’s still early days, so looking forward to seeing how the app develops.
One thing I would like to see is an additional latch option, whereby when you play a new chord, the previous chord automatically unlatches, at the moment, you have to play the previous chord first before playing a new ones. This option was available in the other app I use, and has proven to be a very useful option.
