Description
Keka is a full featured file archiver, as easy as it can be.
With Keka you can compress as many files as you want in a bunch of formats. Divide files and protect them with a password is now a kids game. Just drop the files you want to compress to the Keka icon in the Dock or the main window.
Also Keka can extract lots of compressed files, from ZIP and 7Z to RAR archives, even parted ones. Just double click on those files and they will be extracted using Keka, or drop them to the icon in the Dock or the main window.
Compression formats supported:
7Z, ZIP, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, XZ, LZIP, LZ4, BROTLI, ZSTD, LRZIP, AAR, SNAPPY, WIM, DMG and ISO
Extraction formats supported:
7Z, ZIP, RAR, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, XZ, LZIP, LZ4, BROTLI, ZSTD, LRZIP, DMG, ISO, LZMA, SNAPPY, EXE, CAB, WIM, MSI, PAX, JAR, APK, APPX, XPI, IPA, CPGZ, CPIO, XIP, CPT and more

Ratings and Reviews
Best compression software!
Used this for a long time. I've had multiple macs, and always used the "gratis" version from the Keka website. If you're short of cash then go with this, as it works the same. However as this software has been so reliable, I decided to pay for it through the app store, and leave a review so that others will know what a good piece of software this is. Recommended!
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much! You’re indeed a Master of Keka 🫶🏼
Keka has served faithfully for a decade
I tried all the others, even some of the paid solutions (like BetterZip which has always sucked IMO). Keka is lightweight, but not light on features. Simple UI, but not oversimplified. And it's free? I mean, hello1?! Give the developer a tip if you can afford it, because they definitely deserve it :) (and no I'm not their mum)

Thanks a lot mum 😛
Dissapointed
Got mislead by the term “full featured”. Was looking for a file archiver software like most apps do which is being able to open the archive file itself. This software doesn’t even do that, you can only extract all not open, no browsing contents, not choosing which file you want to extract. It only mimics already builtin native extract/compress options I already had o_O. Plus no configuration panel to deselect EXE files which I don’t even know why you would do them, it only prevents wine from being default opener.
When archive has a password, the input window hides behind all windows… uninstalling it, waste of money
