The app is synchronised with a central server allowing you to share information, photos, ratings and comments with others.

Keyholder is designed for those interested in heritage, art and architecture who like to visit English and Welsh parish churches. It is not intended to provide information on service times or contact details for church officials (although this information may be added by users and is available on each entry via "A Church Near You").

Please note: The Keyholder app is free to download and provides a basic level of information. To fully unlock all of the features you will need to purchase a subscription. A subscription will allow you to access all churches across all of England and Wales (non-subscribers only see CCT/FoFC churches and churches located within a few miles of Northampton). You will also be able to receive content updates and make your own comments. Subscriptions are available via the app.

If you choose to upgrade to unlock all of the features by taking out a subscription - £0.79 / $1.49 (USD) a week, £1.99 / $2.99 (USD) a month, or £15.49 / $24.49 (USD) for a year (or local equivalent) - your payment can be taken immediately and processed by Apple.

Subscription are auto-renewable and payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. You may manage the subscription and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase.

Excellent

Keyholder is a unique and hugely useful addition to the equipment necessary for an effective church crawl. Every CofE parish church is listed as are those in the care of the CCT. A great opportunity for the user to share their notes of visits and compare then to the experiences of others. In time this has the potential to become a ‘go to’ app for any serious admirer of churches. Well worth the investment.
