Description
Kilowatts uses the latest GFS weather forecast data to generate an hour-by-hour generation forecast for your solar PV system. You can configure the app anywhere in the world and have forecast up to 5 separate systems. Forecasts update 4x daily at approximately 5am, 11am, 5pm and 11pm UTC (GMT).

Can’t get weather from the internet
Only just installed it; the app says Error getting forecast from internet. Pressing the ‘try again’ button doesn’t resolve it.

Good but could be great!
Please consider letting the user add more than one solar array, each with its own direction and elevation. The results could be so much more relevant and useful as many solar arrays have an east and west split. I am very impressed with the accuracy of the predictions for the few days I have used the app so far, although I am having to input numbers that don’t truly describe my array which is divided between E, ,S and W.

Useful app
Enables you to see how much predictive sunshine you can expect on your PV over the coming days. A minor query after first installed , but quickly resolved by the developer. Very useful app.
