Best of both? I think so :)

I’m trying KC as an alternative to my main game, also “strategy/grow your empire”, which, though great in itself, has an overkill-aggressive, toxic community causing an unhealthy gaming environment. So far, KC is pretty good! But I wonder if it’s by the same devs because it’s a carbon copy of said main game. Graphics, layout, items, methods, even events and mini games, it’s identical plus benefiting from its experience=optimisations. It may even turn out the best of both, great game AND nice community. I’ll wait until I know it better for that 5th star. Only 1 piece of advice: do NOT go mad on opening servers like GoS did. It’s been on a server-opening spree that makes it easy to abandon accounts instead of putting out roots, endless struggling/dead servers left with a pathetic few players who invested too much to just let it go as each server means a new account, all your hard work and money wasted for the sake of short term profit to the customer’s loss. Don’t be greedy, respect your customers, encourage long term enterprise, you’ll have the perfect game. And people will thank you for that.

This is a relatively new game and I already see 400+ servers on Europe alone. If the trend continues, RED FLAG!!, I’m out like a flash. Don’t settle for mediocrity, be the best you can be.

Incredible game, don’t let the ads you see of it scare you off!

Unfortunately the advertisements you see of this game do not do it justice, their weird fixations on the romance aspect is not what you will get out of the game. Believe me, I’ve had over 100 heirs now and named them all along the lines of “stinky”, they’re simply pawns in my world domination not the children I’m raising. However, I think the lack of romance focus in the actual game is definitely for the best, the slow build up of the power within your “kingdom” keeps you engaged and credit is deserved that compared to other apps it really doesn’t shove advertisements down your throat.

Never have I had a game that has engaged me for this long. It’s a good combination of both idle growth components and active tasks/challenges you can undertake if you so choose. They introduce a healthy amount of competitiveness too in the form of daily events and rankings across servers. The events are always unique and a lot of fun to take part in, giving you a reason to log in each day. Similarly the server structure means you actually get to know those within your server, adding a great social aspect too.

As I said, cannot recommend this game enough, just a shame it’s advertisements and even the sample pictures above don’t show it’s best side.

Ruined by cliquey players…

I downloaded this game after see such an interesting ad for it, but it was nothing like what I expected. The game itself was fairly fun and quite addictive. I enjoyed the various mini games like the daily hunting shoot, dragon battles and the pet races. Unfortunately it was the other players that became the problem for me and drove me away from the game after only a month of daily playing. The players in the alliance I joined were unresponsive and barely active which made it hard to progress up the ranks. Then I found that there were a group of players that had formed a clique and were helping each other’s alliances which meant that the rest of the players were only there for them all to compete against. You could only join them if they liked you or if you could help them win. They would plan out who would win each of the titles and would all meet on Discord to private message and plan their strategies. They’d also publicly shame and bully players who didn’t abide by their rules on the Kingdom Chat. It was sad, but for my own well being I had to leave the game, despite spending a fair amount of money. In the end it felt to me that I was only spending money for the enrichment of the other players, while I wasn’t getting much back for my efforts. There wasn’t much point to playing without a chance to win anything so I deleted the app so I wouldn’t be tempted back.
