Great app

I fly with KLM every week and 98% of the times it was working great. Its user friendly, intuitive. You can see your FlyBlue status and details about it too. Get your boarding pass. Notification about gate number for your connection flight - very useful when you are in rush.
Thought I'd prefer to be able to change my flights from the app as well; so far it's only possible from the website
Now I'm preferring to use KLM for my flights. Easy to use app, great service and wonderful experience in general
Nov'17 update: I'm very happy to see that I could change flights in app now.
But I still have an issue when my travel document details are not coming up automatically. Sometimes I'd add details on first page, get out of app and then travel document details would come up automatically , but sometimes I'd have to get my document to fill in all details manually

KLM The best Always

I have been a loyal KLM service user for many years
With family in the Netherlands and in South Africa it just makes sense.
I live extremely remote
On an island off Shetland, the most northerly island of the UK
My journey to my destination takes 4 days
including the ferry to mainland Shetland, the overnight ferry to Aberdeen, Scotland, the flight from Aberdeen to Schiphol, then Schipol to Cape Town and then Cape Town to George Western Cape.
I always choose KLM.
My only negative comment is that my Flying Blue points of 2022 had been cancelled even though I had been re-assured that it will still count. I could not get any leave to fly back to South Africa at the time due to COVID. I contacted Flying Blue and was promised that they will keep my points for longer.
I also lost my points for March -April 2020 due to COVID

Turning into EasyJet or Ryanair

In a world where flights are becoming more expensive KLM are using more staff to do a job that used to be done by computer or automation. I can no longer get a boarding pass sent to my Apple wallet, i have to go to a check in desk to get one printed. I can’t check in hold baggage by an automated system like I could 5+ years ago, I have to go and get it checked in by a member of KLM staff. I get told for every flight that I need to check in my cabin baggage but I get to the gate to find multiple people with oversize cabin baggage and someone of them have two bags that are oversize. Sadly there isn’t another option for my route but if there was I wouldn’t be flying KLM. They have gone backwards in the last 5 years. (Yes I know this is supposed to be a review of the app not KLM)
