Our founder Jens Knoops has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Since then, Jens has gone on to open more Knoops stores, built a team of chocolate lovers around him, developed an at-home range of chocolate flakes, and even released a chocolate cookbook. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu which offers chocolates to suit every taste and mood. We find joy in helping you to discover your perfect chocolate drink, and encourage experimentation with different % chocolates and flavours in a process we call ‘Knoopology’. This process is simple;choose your chocolate %, milk, and extra flavours like sea salt, orange zest or chilli to be made into a hot chocolate, milkshake or iced chocolate. With our app, you can get rewarded for your experimenting with Knoopology by collect points with every drink you buy in our stores.
I’m so glad the Knoops app is now a thing!It was rather frustrating always being stuck behind people whom appear like they’ve never come across chocolate drinks before in their life and need everything explaining to them, taking forever to order, when I know exactly what I want already.Now I can skip the queue and order ahead. The app is very nicely laid out, has Apple Pay and allows adding to Apple Wallet the loyalty card scheme if I do end up ordering at the till. No bugs and clean UI. Thank you

So glad we have this local to us! Always come with my husband, friends & family members - best quality hot chocolate can’t beat it. Open till 9pm which is good because normal cafe’s shut early 👌🏻
Doesn’t work correctly

The app needs environment. The loyalty card doesn’t work properly. It either fails to load or doesn’t open in full view. As a result I cannot be used at checkout , which makes this feature effectively useless. When I tried to open my loyalty card , it gets stuck on an infinite loading screen and never fully loads. Because of this I cannot access or use it at all.
