Easy way to book tickets in English

As shocking as it is, the Polish train operator's ticket website is only available in Polish. For tourist and visitors there's Koleo though in multiple languages.
Plenty of options to sign up (Google, Facebook, Apple) so it took seconds. Minutes later I had my ticket booked. Easy searching and booking process and the ticket is delivered by email and in the app.
Brilliant app, it shows that the developer puts a lot of work into it.

That's awesome that app has evolved with time. Many thanks to add Apple Wallet as an option for purchased tickets. Hopefully to see all polish railway services added shortly not only IC. Great job.

Not working at the last minute

I bought the ticket in the app, but there was a delay for more than 40 minutes, so I had to take a taxi, and I lost my money for the ticket. Next day I’ve decided to buy a ticket when the train arrives but it was impossible because doesn’t allow to buy it in a few minutes before departure, and I did not know that it is impossible to buy it from conductor. So I received a fine

In KOLEO, you can return the ticket before the start of the validity period. If there is a delay then you should file a complaint. You can buy a ticket up to 5 minutes before departure - this is what the carriers have established. We must follow contracts and regulations, as with all online services.
