Kubu Smart 4+

How many time have you, like me, got 2 miles down the road and thought did I lock that door! This app solves that dilemma. It will warn you if you have a door unlocked, it will tell you what doors are and are not locked at scheduled times (just before bedtime for example) and if you plug in the dongle/hub in a place you can see it the light colour indicates if there is a door unlocked. No fancy stuff, it does not control the lock it just tells you if it is or isn’t locked. Very easy to install and set up (just make sure your door is Kubu ready, normally new doors only). I have had these in my doors for 6 months now since having new doors and windows fitted to the house and have had only one problem which was not Kubu’s fault, like others have mentioned the customer service is outstanding Ryan is really knowledgable and helpful. One thing to be aware of you can only have 3 locks connected to a single dongle/hub so if you have more doors you will need 2 hubs.

Just had a new door fitted that came with a smart lock slot and feature to support Kubu and being a techie I was interested to know what the Kubu offered. Doing some research and recently having various family members leaving the back door open at night, 3 times in the last 6 weeks. I thought I would give Kubu a try. After one week of Kubu being installed it’s working great, notifications when the door is opened or closed and I mean the key trying (it knows when someone uses the key on the door) and scheduled evening door status messages and geo-location features, very happy with Kubu. I would also highlight Kubu’s outstanding customer services (Ryan) as my door had an issue after it was supplied and fitted and Kubu came round and solved the issue even though it was not the Kubu’s issue. Quality device and company and Kubu is fully recommended if like me you want peace of mind that your home is safe and secure. Cheers JK

I’m a little over the top when it comes to locking up. It usually takes me 2 minutes and multiple checks before I’m happy I’ve locked the door and can leave the house.

This device has allowed me to have certainty I’ve locked the door and it’s meant no matter how much I doubt myself over if I’ve locked the door, I can now check up from anywhere in the world and ensure my home is locked up.

The app is simple to use and helps guide you through the install. It doesn’t have many features other than the standard ones but it does them well and is instant to update the status of the door.
