Fantastic customer service- great products

I have already ordered from Lalalab twice and the quality of products was great, the delivery speedy and the app interface easy to use. What struck me most and prompted me to write this review is the stellar customer service. I experienced an issue with my purchase on the app and was getting psychologically ready for one of those very frustrating experiences that often follow after contacting customer support. However, after writing to customer service I received a quick, clear and polite reply with an update to the app that immediately fixed my issue and I was able to complete the order in no time. Plus a neat discount! Thank you lalalab for showing how it’s done :)

Terrible customer service

I order 2 of the framed poster prints. They took ages to be delivered and when they came they were packaged in a flat cardboard box with no protection and were unsurprisingly completely broken. I emailed customer service photos of the damage and the response was that my order had been placed and my photos were being printed. I checked the app and there was a new order placed for the same prints. I emailed again stating I hadn’t asked for a new order and asking had I been charged. I received a response a day or 2 later saying once again that my photos were being printed. No response to the questions I asked, almost as if someone hadn’t read my email at all. Glad I’m getting a replacement but the customer service response was poor. Feels like talking to a robot. I will wait and see if the frames come broken again and if I get charged. Will not likely use Lalalab again, which is a shame as I’ve used them in the past and had a good experience. But all of my recent orders have had problems and this is the last straw.

Customer service is awful

These guys messed up not one, but two Valentine’s Day orders. They then tried to blame me, questioned my address when I’d had previous orders delivered to it without a problem. I waited 2 days for a reply from customer service who then told me ‘if it wasn’t delivered by 1st March to get back in touch’ I then placed a back up order but needed to change the address as they were having problems with mine. I followed all the instructions for placing an order and changing the address (they give you an hour to change an order) the app wouldn’t let me access so I waited for the email. 20 mins into the allotted hour to make changes. I clicked the link in the email and was met with an error message that I couldn’t make changes as it had been processed. Now they are just ignoring my emails without any resolution after spending £40 with them, they think offering me £7.50 credit is a good enough response. This issue is still ongoing and you keep not replying for two days. There are 24 emails in the chain to your customer service dating back to the 7tb feb and still not sorted.

I thought I’d try out a new place to get my Polaroid’s printed and so I tried LalaLab. I noticed it was much more expensive than other places but figured it was because the quality was better and app had better features. I placed a large order and it ended up taking over a week to arrive. I ordered Polaroid’s with the black border which was a mistake as they have loads of white frayed edges from where they have (I’m guessing) used a guillotine to cut the shape out. It also arrived as a washed-grey colour rather than jet black shown on the app. (Looks really bad!). Paper is extremely thin and bad quality and the text is blurry , unlike the template pictures on the app. Also, the larger Polaroid’s I got done weren’t accurate to the template either. Text is tiny compared to how it shows on the app. Overall I am gutted as was so excited to try this place and I spent A LOT of money on my order. If you are to use this app , I recommend getting a white border as it looks a lot more professional once printed.
