Works well for me..
I use it to pull in my Feedly subscription and it does this well. No issues running it on Mojave.
The UI is fine, though Reeder 3 offers more personalisation.
What I do like a lot is the ability to switch easily from feed view, to clutter free, to web view. I just wish, like Lire on IOS, that one could set a preferred view for each RSS feed - some feeds don't work well in Clutter Free, or only part of the feed is viewable.
So I've been trying out Leaf and I'm, thus far, very impressed. The usual functions you'd expect from any feed reader are here but they're all neatly tucked away and only emerge when you need to use them. It's very easy on the eye and looks beautiful on retina. I suppose, considering it's such a minimal app, that it could be cheaper but it's probably something you'll use everyday so spending £2.50 isn't that bad.
I've not had any of the crashing some other reviewers have mentioned but it seems they were all using 1.0 as opposed to 1.1 so perhaps those problems have been dealt with.
The only feature I feel I'm missing is a menu bar icon. It's might be just my ocd side coming out but I'd like to be able to hide it from the dock all together and have it open via the menu bar… like Sparrow for example. That aside, I'm really keen on Leaf. It's gorgeous to look at, easy to use and well in keeping with the mac aesthetic. If you're short an rss reader then this is certainly one to consider.
Great app for collecting all the information from different websites and blogs
