What's new in v5.0? A LOT.
-NEW: you asked for it. You got it! You can now have multiple custom word lists in your Word Bank. Take control of organizing your study sessions. Wondering where your old Word Bank went? Don't worry. Your existing Word Bank will be moved to the new Starred word list. If you have an iCloud account, all of your custom lists and your Starred list will be backed up to iCloud and synced across your devices.
-NEW: add a word to one of your custom word lists by tapping on the new "Add to List" button on the word detail screen. You can also quickly add a word to the Starred list by tapping on the Star icon in the upper right.
-NEW: a beautiful new user interface
-NEW: it's now much easier to review words you're having trouble with! when you mark flashcards as wrong, they'll now be automatically added to a new flashcard deck called "Missed words." You'll find the new deck on the Flashcards screen at the top. When you mark these words as correct, they'll be automatically removed from the "Missed words" deck. If you'd like to manually remove words instead, just go to More->Settings (on iPad, Settings), then go into Flashcard Settings and turn off "Auto-remove missed words when marked right"

Enjoying it. Easy to learn Hebrew from the application.

This app is really helpful. Yes it is expensive for just 2000+ words but it is value for money. Besides, if you were to learn this at the university you would pay thousands of Ghana Cedis for it really. For those of us who value the Bible and wants to understand both the lexical and the contextual meaning to God's word, I will strongly recommend this app.
Good but still room for improvement
I've been using this for a year now and find learning one word a day really helps build vocabulary. The flash cards are great for daily practice too, especially with their various options for viewing or hearing them.
Downsides: after one of the updates, 250 of my carefully learned words disappeared because the app wouldn't open, so had to uninstall then reinstall which wiped the word bank. Frustrating, though have managed to find them in the full version. There's some repetition and a few errors too.
Suggestions for improvements: tell us what part of speech each word is to aid understanding. It would be helpful to access yesterday's word when you don't have opportunity to check word of the day. Also, please bring back feature that went in last update, where flashcard recurs in the pack until you're confident with it.
Overall, for a free app, this Is really good and helpful in learning some basic vocabulary in a fun way.
