Ledger Live: Crypto & NFT App 4+

Purchased a Nano X about a month ago, after a recommendation. Been meaning to improve my security on my crypto for some time but was a little unsure of how the tech worked. I spoke with a member of the team ‘Rick’ who talked me through their different products and suggested the X for my needs.

I thought it would take a bit of time getting used to and may be a bit of faff to set up and constantly use, but it’s pretty simple/easy to use. Still need to work out all the features but after all the turmoil in the market recently happy that my crypto is stored safely.

Been using this for a couple of months now and I move my crypto to my Nano X using my desktop app so I can scan the QR codes. That side of it is brilliant and easy to use. This app though, does not update balances quick enough. I added Crypto over a week ago in my desktop app (NEAR) and it’s still not showing in the phone app, making it utterly useless. This should update instantly. There’s a lot that could be improved in the phone app. These days it should be able to accomplish everything the desktop app can. Also lost another star for support. It’s pretty useless and took me a while to find it. After I sent a message I got a generic ‘we’ll be back to you asap’ and when they finally got back to me 2 days later I got a generic answer for a question I wasn’t asking. At the bottom was the worst sign off I’ve ever seen. Basically saying how brilliant they were! After a sarcastic response from me I finally got a sensible, knowledgeable, answer, all be it a couple of days later again.

Actually, I see that buying stuff using this is really safe. You do I have to give a few details over but at least you know you're not gonna get ripped off when you get better at the market. I'm sure there's other places you can go to to make more risky transactions without KYC, i've been pretty happy with ledger to be quite honest it obviously was a bit brutal in my first review but now I've to spend some time with it. I think it's a pretty good app. I think it's pretty safe everybody that I bought anything from Monia so far as the funds out out within minutes and they've shown in the account so that's really good. There is room for improvement including Support coins and NFTs, but apart from that is pretty good. Don't like the idea of sending it my Recovery phrases and it's not something I'll be doing and I do think that in order to secure their business model they should've released two firmware updates one that did have that option and one that removed it..
