Ratings and Reviews
I have been enjoying library books using this app. However there are a few ‘glitches’ that are irritating hence why I have only given a 3 star rating.
It is slow and sometimes I have to power off and back on again before it works. Also bookmarking doesn’t revert back to the relevant marked page.
I have just downloaded a cookery book and the copy is unreadable. A complete waste of time.
I used this app successfully for a few months last year, then after a break tried to go back to it, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I can see the books I have already read, but when I click on “get books”, I get a message saying invalid address. My Adobe I’d is authorised, but I’m not able to search, and I can’t find anything in settings to enable me to check if I am still connected to my local library. I don’t really want to give a bad review, because before this happened, I have had good results using the app. But I can’t even find anywhere to contact the developers to ask a question.
Better than my previous ereader.
Like that I can go straight to my library from the app. Very convenient. However. Keep ticking the box to remember my details but it is not happening. Have to sign in every time which is annoying. Hence the 4 star.
No problems with page turning hanging which happened a lot with previous reader. Much prefer this one. This app was recommended by my library. So glad I tried it.
