Description
The Life in the UK Citizenship Test is a computer-based exam constituting one of the requirements for anyone seeking naturalisation as a British citizen. It is meant to prove that the applicant has a sufficient knowledge of British life and sufficient proficiency in the English language. The test consists of 24 questions covering topics such as British values, history, traditions and everyday life.
You’ll be tested on information in the official handbook for the Life in the UK Test included in this app - this is the only book recommended to prepare for the test. You’ll have 45 minutes to answer 24 questions.
This app also contains 1,200+ practice questions you will be asked in the citizenship test.

Note: Remember that you must book your Life in the UK Test online at least 3 days in advance. There is a fee to register. There are around 60 test centres in the UK - choose one of the 5 closest to where you live. If the centre isn’t close to where you live, you won’t be allowed to sit the test and you won’t get a refund. Remember to bring proof of your address to the test. If you have covered all the material in this app - It should be a breeze!

Highly recommend! This app was really a really helpful study tool for me. The practice questions are more difficult than the official Home Office app, and, in my opinion, were more reflective of what the actual test was like (I passed easily thanks to this!)
I used a combination of the book, the official app, and this app, and was really well-prepared. Unlike many of the other unofficial apps this one is well-made, up-to-date, and the questions, answer options, and explanations are clear and correct. Highly recommend this to really nail down your knowledge, as the Home Office app does not feel like it covers the full expanse of the book as well as this app does.
The BEST app
I would highly recommend this app to ANYONE studying for the LITUK test. The e-book in the app was particularly helpful and the questions will feedback wrong answers with sections from the book, which is a gentle reminder that reading the book will help you pass.
The difficulty level of the questions on this app compared to other sources is notably more difficult but the questions in exam were definitely much easier - this had also been helpful to gain confidence in answering the questions!
Very abbreviated text and gives false negatives on practice tests
Having used this in conjunction with another app that has the full 3rd Edition text included, I quickly realised this contains a HIGHLY abbreviated version of the test. I pressed on though, using it to refresh my fuller studies, but ultimately ended up deleting it after taking the second practice test, where it told me I got 9 answers wrong, except when I reviewed the answers I chose against the explanations given after taking the test, I had in fact selected the corresponding answer for three of them. So it’s gave me a false negative and thereby “failed” practice test. I’m glad that this was a free app, because the information contained is not sufficient for studying for such a stressful test in which your right to remain in country is dependent. Terrifying it received so many well scored reviews!
