Teenager’s POV
I suggested the app to my parents when I was 15 in hopes that they would be assured enough in my safety while out to extend my curfew. I’ve had Life360 for quite a while now, both with my family and my close friends (particularly useful on nights out lest we get separated).
My parents were never overly controlling so the app was never abused in our case. If I leave the house when my Mom is working, she gets a notification and gets another when I return back home. I think she’s much more confident and assured with my little brother and I’d safety now. If I need to get picked up my Mom and I both can see how long it takes for her to arrive to my location by car and she can access directions to me via the app.
I’ve never had to use this feature but there is a “bubble” for when you want a little more privacy on where your exact location is. You can also temporarily turn off your location.
Honestly, I have no complaints at all about Life360. My whole family uses it and it’s definitely been advantageous for all members of my household.
Wow!
Life 360 is just AMAZING! You can count on it to tell you where everyone is instead of calling them which can take hours to respond to. It is very easy to use and you can get used to it in about a week. I can track my daughter when she goes to school every morning. Before I got Life 360 my daughter would usually call me every time she got to school and she would often forget to call but when I got this app my phone would ping and it would tell me that she has reached. There are only 2 downsides to this app : 1. It pings me a lot telling me where people are when I already know and 2. if there is no internet you can’t track the person. If you are going somewhere than you have to on your location or else no one can see where you are. I highly recommended this app for anyone who has children going to school on there own or if someone you live with goes out and you can’t find out where they are. Get this free app. It’s worth it and it’s cheap
Amazing
This app is amazing because it allows me to know where my family and friends are at the same time using the bubbles in the app. It is also amazing because it allows you to message your friends, family etc all using the same app. This amazing app can also tell you what everyone else’s phone percentage is, therefore if they need to charge their phone you can simply message them on the app but that’s not all as this app tells you when other people have low battery so you can tell them to charge their phones. You can also use some small buttons on your phone once you get into the app to ask them different questions about where they are at and where they are going next and you can also use these to tell them to charge their phones when you tap on their icon all these options come up. You can also check in to different places so everyone knows when you have arrived somewhere.
