I was hesitant to install after reading some of the performance-related comments. However, this game ran no problem on my 2009 MBP - mind you after an hour of playing you could have fried an egg on the base of the laptop it got so hot. Game-wise I found this almost unputdownable. Finished it over the course of a weekend, so not a teribly long game, but given the price you wouldn't really expect it to be. The dark, foggy graphics are simply stunning, Great audio too. And a really enjoyable game-play which is a bit spooky in parts yet quite funny in others. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would recommend it. A refreshing change from FPS.

This game is honestly amazing. It tested my brain, it shocked me, and made me ask a lot of questions about who, what and where. Truly incrdible, but I’d only recommend this port if it’s the only port available to you, as I literally stopped playing due to the (as described by a certain other reviewer) “unforgivable lag”; and unforgivable it really is. Around 4/5 into the game, it begun to just get slower, and slower, and slower… Until it had become an interactive slideshow. I’m unsure as to whether this is due to the mac I’m using, or whether it’s just a common problem, but either way, I’d reccomend checking for how well your computer will be able to cope with this game before purchasing, as games such as Bioshock and Left 4 Dead ran better than this, and they’re 2d! Apart from the game becoming almost completely unplayable and unresponsive (6/10 times the game wouldn’t pick up my alt key being pressed), the game was verry enjoyable and worth the money, even with an entire portion of the game being cut short. I’d reccomend it to people who like puzzlers, mystery, and atmosphere out of hell itself.

After buying this game on the ps3 store i have always wanted it to be on my mac and now that it is I immeadiatly purchased it with no hesitation. this game is just spectualr and you will never get bored of it as each level contains new and exciting adventures and different types of obsticles which you need to comeplete and solve before advancing to the next round. over all i am very happy with the purchase of limbo and highly recommend to anyone. Limbo isnt just any ordinary puzzel game it has elements of action and excitment which will entice you to keep playing. just aboslutley amazing :)

…This game is beautiful to look at; more art than game; even though the gameplay is good fun and addictive. However, this game is WAY too short! Don't know about you, but for £7 I expect more than a few hours gameplay, which is all I got out of this. Way more levels would be nice. I don't know if the game changes if you play it in different ways; but I doubt it, as there seems to me to be only one way to play the game.The 4 stars is for the visuals and interesting gameplay (although there's nothing really that original in the gameplay…Abe's Odyssey anyone?)Had it been a lot longer, I probably would have given this 5 stars.
